L&Q Estates has been in the business of identifying, promoting and acquiring land for over 60 years. Throughout this journey they have gained experience of working with a wide range of people, creating communities that work for everyone. With significant financial resources, combined with the experience and expertise to assemble land, promote and secure planning and deliver the infrastructure required, L&Q Estates is at the forefront of facilitating much-needed housing and commercial development in the UK.
Following the introduction of a new corporate identity by the L&Q group, Brand Skillings were commissioned to help create and implement new branding for L&Q Estates., together with a corporate brochure and revitalised website. Liaising with L&Q's main marketing department, we developed a number of approaches to the logo and branding , all aligned with the main brand. Once agreed, we then developed a concise brand guideline document to help ensure a consistent approach to all marketing.
Central to the new brochure and website was a new approach to the photography - creating a creative and consistent look for the images of L&Q Estates developments around the UK. This involved commissioning award winning photographer Julian Calverley
to shoot a selection of developments during the Autumn/Winter of 2020, with Nick Brand providing art direction. The resulting 64 page "coffee table" brochure was conceived to encourage land owners and land agents to engage with L&Q's Land Department - and to provide a starting point during face to face meetings.
With new branding and a contemporary design, the re-designed website showcases L&Q Estates' key developments, with an introduction, key stats and an image gallery for each. A dedicated Land Acquisition section, with pictograms to explain the processes involved, supported by client testimonials provides further reassurance. Clean and intuitive, the new website provides a seamless brand experience.
